Hidekata Mizuno was born in 1875 in the family of the former Shogunate Gokenin in Hongo Morikawa Town. After becoming a disciple of Toshikata Mizuno in 1900, he exhibited “Beauty” at the 12th Japan Painting Association 7th Japan Art Institute Union Painting Co-Promotion Exhibition as early as 35 (1902) and received a first prize. I won the award. He also worked on magazine illustrations and frontispieces until the Taisho era. He married Toshikata Mizuno, who lost his ex-wife to illness, in 1905.
After Toshikata died, he took over Toshikata’s art school and taught painting.He died in 1944 at the age of 70
