Hand paint,silk – edo period Ukiyoe artist – Kanjo no zu官女之図(Lady-in-waiting)- Japan – Late edo period(1750-1860)

This work is a hand-painted ukiyo-e drawn around the Edo period.What is drawn is a lady-in-waiting who enjoys cherry blossom viewing.

The name 不川三予子(?) is written.It is a work of an ukiyo-e painter in terms of style.The name of the owner,Tanaka Taheei(田中太兵衛) , the fifth generation, is written on the back of the hanging scroll.
