Description

Handpaint,  – Kikukawa School artist – Woman holding a child (tentative title)- Japan – (1820-1940)

A woman holding a child is depicted.

It was drawn by an ukiyo-e artist from the Kikukawa school.
It was a sketch of something.
A picture of bamboo is drawn on the back.
The quality of the paper is a little poor because it was for sketching.
There are holes in the paper.

A characteristic of the Kikukawa ukiyo-e artist is that the female face is drawn slightly smaller.
