This plate is the old-Imari porcelain.

The characters “大明成化年製 (Dai-Min Seika Nen Sei)” were originally Chinese and mean that the porcelain was baked in the state-run klin(made in 1465～1487).

The characters on the old-Imari porcelains were modeled after them.
