Gokitei sadafusa e is name ‘’ 五亀亭定房画” in his signature.

A disciple of Kunisada Utagawa. His real surname is Osawa and Utagawa’s painting artname, and He used Gokametei(五亀亭), Gokotei(五湖亭), GoFuutei(五楓亭), Okechoro(桶蝶楼), and Shinsai(震斎). He initially lived in Kyobashi, Edo, but later moved to Osaka. His drawing period was from Bunsei to Kaei, and he drew illustrations and plays in the manga. His disciple has Utagawa Fusatane(歌川房種)
