Since this woodblock print is old, there are holes and repair marks.

Clam digging in the Edo period was a popular play for people at that time. When the time came, many people were clamming on the tidal flats.
The first Hiroshige, II Hiroshige, and III Hiroshige drew many ukiyo-e prints on the theme of clamming

Utagawa Shigenobu is name ‘Shigenobu-e’ 重宣画” in his signature.

His surname is Suzuki(鈴木) and then Morita(森田), and his first name is Zhenpei(鎮平).first mname(重宣)
he took on Utagawa as a surname, and also used the surname (一幽斎)Ichiyūsai、(一立斎) ichiryūsai、(立斎)rissai、(立祥)ritsu Shō、(喜斎)kissai ,as an art name.

It became famous to draw illustrations on tea boxes for export
It was called Tea Box Hiroshige.
