The sign of yousainobukazu(陽斎延一) is written on the ukiyo-e.

memo(Yōsai Nobukazu 楊斎延一)
Yōshūchikanobu(楊州周延) disciple.
he lived in Morikawa-cho, Hongo, Tokyo.
He was active as an ukiyo-e artist from around 1870 (Meiji 20) to 1907 (Meiji 40)
It is famous mainly for drawing Ukiyo-e of war products such as the Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War, and ukiyo-e of samurai.
He often draws beauty woman paintings that his master often drew.
In the latter years, I also draw a Nikuhitsuga(肉筆画)

 

‘Okina’ 翁'(memo)

“Okina” is said to be “Noh and not Noh” and is truly a special song. There is no story. It is a sacred ritual, and the performer becomes a god and dances to pray for Taihei Tenka and peace of the land.
